Optometrist / Owner
As a local Claremont High School graduate, Dr. Jennifer Kim was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She graduated Claremont High School class of 2003 and went on to attend UCLA for her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Neuroscience. Dr. Kim continued on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
It has been her dream to build a practice of her own, providing the highest level of eye care to her local community.
When out of the office, Dr. Kim enjoys playing tennis with her husband and two kids, reading novels, and walking her English Bulldog Winston.
Operations Manager/ Licensed Optician
Scott is an Optician, both certified by the American Board of Opticianry, and licensed by the California State Board of Optometry as a Registered Spectacle Lens Dispenser. He graduated with honors from Chaffey College with an associate's degree in Psychology, and a second associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Scott is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa academic honors society. Presently, he is pursuing his bachelor's degree at CSUSB, and plans to pursue his graduate degree in psychology.
Scott is also a dog dad to two rescue babies (Peter and Ben), he's obsessed with fragrances and has a collection of over 200 bottles of colognes and perfumes, he is a member of the ASPCA and donates to his local animal shelter, loves strategy games, and is an Ace rated trainer in Pokemon Go.
Front Desk/ Administrative Assistant
Christina went to high school at Bishop Amat High School in La Puente where she participated in her school's swim team. She then went on to study at Cal State Long Beach where she received her bachelor's degree in Health Science. During college she was part of her school's Health Science Student Association where she found an interest in healthcare. Christina hopes to enter the medical field some day and is working towards that goal while gaining new knowledge here at LUXE Optometry. In her free time she enjoys taking walks with her dog Zuki, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
Mascot
Winston is now retired and went over the rainbow bridge in 2023. We thank him for many years of unconditional love.
